Real Intent Names Ramesh Dewangan VP of Application Engineering

Semiconductor industry expert leads team supporting sales and customers

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – February 17, 2014

 – Real Intent Inc., a leading provider of EDA software products today announced the appointment of verification sign-off expert Ramesh Dewangan as vice president of Application Engineering. Ramesh will oversee Real Intent’s Application Engineering (AE) team that supports the sales team and customers. He brings a wealth of understanding of customer requirements for verification success and design sign-off to his new role.

During more than 25 years in the semiconductor industry, Ramesh gained extensive experience in engineering, customer management, product management and marketing. For the past eight years, he served as Sr. Director, Product Marketing at Atrenta Inc., where he led the marketing of the company’s core product suite comprising multiple products related to RTL design. Prior to his years at Atrenta, Ramesh launched new products and managed customer relationships at Cadence, Tera Systems, Synopsys and Texas Instruments.

Ramesh holds an MBA degree from the Walter A. Haas School of Business, University of California; and a bachelor of technology degree in electronics from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, India.
